Welcome to my blog! Here I will show my most recent work. I am Chris Parker and currently live in Leamington - tomato capital of Canada. Although I currently live in Canada I was born in Hollywood, California. I've lived all over the country - New York, Texas, Arizona and Michigan!
Although I photograph weddings all over Michigan and Ontario, I'm also available for Destination weddings. From Florida to California to New York. Have camera and will travel around the world! So enjoy the photos, slide shows and please leave a comment!This past weekend I had the pleasure to capture Adam & Eleni’s wedding in Windsor, Ontario. I first met them about 5 years ago through mutual friends. The nicest couple you will ever meet. Their wedding was spectacular! We drove around Windsor, for about an hour, stopping here and there (Thank you Carrie!). My favorite stop was an alley that featured a huge mural. It made for some fun and unique photos. Pre-ceremony preparations started with Jen and the girls at The Atheneum Suite Hotel (downtown Detroit - same location as the reception). The ceremony (also in Detroit) was at the Fort Street Presbyterian Church (built in the 1850’s). Both locations were outstanding for a wedding. The day was a bit windy (which helped with some fun photos). However, it was neither too cold or too hot. Perfect day for a perfect wedding! I’m always looking for new places to shoot. So, we strolled Detroit for some amazing photos….
My most recent wedding of Brian and Cassie took place this past Saturday. I first met Cassie over 3 years ago (sort of). I was covering a reception at Mac’ N Rays and Cassie was working their at the time. She picked up one of my cards (that night) and called 3 years later to book. In February we weathered the winter cold for an outstanding e-session in downtown Detroit, Michigan. You can see their e-session slide show located a few posts below. As for the wedding day, what a blast! Cassie’s’ family was fun and energetic. Brian was surprised at the reception (at the Detroit Yacht Club in Michigan) with a solo from Cassie (the new song from Alicia Keys - can not for the life of me remember the name of the song) and Mr. Wlodeck on the piano. Oh, did I mention they like to party! Here is their story….
You may recognize the next couple from our wedding album (located in the portfolio section of our website). Brian and Reba wed in October of 2006 (Detroit, Michigan). Reba called a few weeks ago and inquired about a maternity session. I was excited for them and elated that they wanted me to document their growing family!

Nick and Jen wed on March 28th, 2008 in Macomb, Michigan! We braved the cold to capture some spectacular photos at Sycamore Hills Golf club. After the sun went down, we snuck back outside for a few more. Must see slideshow….
Even in though the temperature was barely above freezing, we managed to capture some great photos! Location, downtown Detroit, Michigan. This provided for some fun and creative photography. These photos are not your typical traditional engagement photographs. Check out my favorites……
